Involved with executive compensation for over 30 years, from 1972-2005 as a lawyer (O'Melveny & Myers, head of employee benefits practice and Tax Department) and as an executive compensation consultant (2005-2008, Managing Director at Pearl Meyer & Partners; 2008-present, Managing Director at Frederic W. Cook & Co., Inc.) I have frequently served as an expert witness, covering topics involving change in control agreements, reasonable compensation, stock option practices, etc.
