Nell Hennessy Moot Court Competition

The Second Annual Ellen A. (Nell) Hennessy Moot Court Competition, hosted by the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel, took place on February 23, 2019, at Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.

This year’s problem addressed issues arising from the denial of disability benefits under ERISA-covered plans, particularly the legal standards that courts should apply when reviewing a plan’s claims denials.
