Jen Dunsizer is a partner in the Columbus, Ohio office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP.

Jen’s practice covers the full range of employee benefits and executive compensation issues. With a career that has included working both in-house and as outside counsel, Jen has extensive experience in the design, implementation and administration of all types of employee benefits. She regularly gives advice on qualified and nonqualified retirement plans and other deferred compensation arrangements, health and welfare plans, insurance benefits, short- and long-term cash and equity-based incentive plans, and severance and retention programs and public company disclosure obligations. She also helps clients negotiate mergers and acquisitions and manage post-closing integration challenges.

Jen is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation; has been included in The Best Lawyers in America, Employee Benefits (ERISA) Law; has been ranked by Chambers as a Leading Lawyer in Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation, and has been ranked by Columbus CEO as a Best Lawyer, Employee Benefits.

Jen has been with Vorys since 2010. Before joining Vorys, Jen held various roles in the legal department of the company now known as The Wendy’s Company.

Jen is a frequent speaker on recent developments across a broad range of employee benefits topics. She is currently chair of the American Bar Association’s Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law, Employee Plans and Executive Compensation Group; Vice Chair of the ABA’s Tax Section Executive Compensation Committee; and RPTE representative on the JCEB CLE subcommittee. Jen is a past Vice Chair of the RPTE Qualified Plan Subcommittee and past Chair of the Executive and Employee Benefits Committee of the Columbus Bar Association.

Jen has been married to Todd for 34 years and has three adult children. When not working she can usually be found in bible study with friends, reading or enjoying nature.
