Eleanor F. Banister

Eleanor Banister is a partner in King & Spalding's Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice. She advises clients (primarily employers) on the design and administration of employee benefit and executive compensation plans, including the handling of such plans in business transactions. She is a frequent lecturer on executive compensation and employee benefits topics. She is a past Chair of the Employee Benefits Committee of the ABA Tax Section and is active in the Employee Benefits Committee of the ABA Labor & Employment Law Section. She is a member of the Senior Editorial Board for Employee Benefits Law and of the Editorial Board for The Practical Tax Lawyer. She is a past President of the Southern Employee Benefits Conference and past Chair of the Gulf Coast Area TE/GE Council. A Fellow since 2004, she also has been included in the Georgia Super Lawyers, Top 50 Female Georgia Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers In America. She is a native of Ila, Georgia and received her bachelor's and her juris doctorate degrees from the University of Georgia. Prior to joining King & Spalding, she clerked for the Honorable G. Ernest Tidwell, Judge, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia.
