Jim Thomas Brickman

Jim Brickman was a Charter Fellow of the College until his death on July 4, 2010. He spent most of his career at Kwasha Lipton, a benefits consulting firm in Fort Lee, NJ. He was a Partner and Chief Operating Officer when Kwasha Lipton was acquired by Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in 1997. He retired in 2003.

In 1972 Jim earned his JD from the University of Iowa College of Law where he was the Managing Editor of the Iowa Law Review. In his early career, Jim was a partner with Baker and Hostetler of Cleveland, OH. He was an active member of the Employee Benefits Committee of the ABA Section of Taxation, among other things chairing the Subcommittee on Defined Benefit Plans.
