Mr. Eggertsen taught graduate-level employee benefits law courses at the Wayne State University for 15 years as an Adjunct Professor of Law. Mr. Eggertsen has been listed in every edition of The Best Lawyers in America since 1987, and in 2001, became an inaugural Fellow of the American Bar Association's prestigious American College of Employee Benefits Counsel.

Mr. Eggertsen received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 1968 and received his law degree, with honors, from the University of Toledo in 1974. He received his L.L.M. in Taxation in 1975 from New York University Law School.
