Kim Wilcoxon

Kim Wilcoxon is a partner in the Cincinnati office of Thompson Hine LLP, where she focuses her practice on helping employers understand and apply requirements applicable to health and welfare employee benefit plans.

Kim provides advice on all aspects of health and welfare plan compliance, including the No Surprises Act, prescription drug reporting, gag clause prohibition compliance attestations, mental health parity, the Affordable Care Act, COBRA, HIPAA, HSAs, cafeteria plan rules, nondiscrimination requirements, and taxation of benefits. Kim also helps employers evaluate responses to legal trends, analyze proposed plan designs and associated risks, review and negotiate service provider agreements, and prepare plan documentation and employee communications.

Kim is a frequent speaker on health and welfare plan issues, allowing her to exercise her passion for helping people understand the law. She also serves as the Co-Chair for the ABA Tax Section subcommittee on Welfare Plans.
