Sally Doubet King's practice is devoted to areas relating to compensation and employee benefits issues facing corporate employers, governmental employers and non-for-profit employers. Ms. Doubet King also advises employers and financial institutions on ERISA Title I issues relating to structuring investment products, identifying investment advice issues, adopting appropriate fee arrangements, and assessing the trustee's or service provider's role in the modern financial services industry. Ms. Doubet King works with employers to design and implement qualified retirement plans, welfare benefit plans, fringe benefit and other compensation arrangements. She assists employers in developing compliance protocols for various human resources functions, including COBRA, HIPAA, HITECH, GINA, FMLA, and cafeteria plan administration; ERISA reporting and disclosure requirements; and compliance issues related to the implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Ms. Doubet King has authored numerous publications and speaks at several seminars and conferences each year hosted by the American Bar Association (Joint Committee on Employee Benefits), the Profit Sharing Council of America, and The Illinois Institute on Continuing Legal Education.
